How it works
The working principle of the four-cable multi-lobe grab is as follows:
1. Support ropes: Two support ropes connect the upper bearing beam of the grab and are used to lift the grab and position it in place.
2. Opening and closing ropes: The two opening and closing ropes are connected to the jaw flap by the pulley set inside the grab. When the opening and closing rope is relaxed, the lower beam of the grab relies on its own weight to open the jaw flap; When the opening and closing rope is tightened, the jaw flap closes, grabbing the material.
3. Pulley block force increase: increase the closing force of the grab through the rate of the pulley block (usually 3-5 times), so as to improve the grasping efficiency.
