A-frame Davit Crane
Marine A-frame Davit Crane is used for launching, recovering, and storing lifeboats and rescue boats, and can also be referred to as a lifeboat/rescue boat davit crane. It is usually installed on both sides of the ship's deck. Relying on the boat's gravity, it hoists the boat outboard to complete the lowering operation. The recovery power is provided by an electric motor or hydraulic pump, enabling the recovery of lifeboats and fast rescue boats in harsh marine environments.
According to the power mode, it can be divided into electric davit crane and hydraulic davit crane.
The hydraulic type A-frame davit crane consists of an A-frame crane, davit arms, hydraulic cylinders, and an HPU.
The YFM A-frame davit crane is designed in accordance with classification society specifications to perform lifeboat release and recovery operations under conditions of maximum roll of 20° and 10° of longitudinal tilt.
