Definition
The stiff boom deck crane comprises metal structures (pedestal, tower, boom), hoisting, luffing, winch, and slewing systems, plus auxiliary equipment like HPUs and cabs. Featuring a fully enclosed box boom, available in various sizes, robust and non-bowed, it uses electro-hydraulic or diesel-hydraulic drive for high-performance 0-360° continuous rotation lifting. Its SWL ranges from 1 ton (small cranes) to over 50 tons (heavy-duty models).

This deck crane can be 'tailor-made' to suit different environmental and operational requirements, and can also be designed and built to all major global ship registrations and quality systems (e.g., ABS, RINA, DNV, Lloyd's Register, API 2c). Typically used as shipboard or ship-to-ship cranes, it offers a diverse product range for the luxury yacht, marine, workboat, oilfield, coastguard, or military industries, suitable for offshore operations on the deck of bulk carriers or where there is sufficient free space, commonly used in marinas, harbors, and at sea.
