Cooperate with cranes, grabs, and other equipment to unload bulk goods from high places (such as cargo ships or stockpiles) into the hopper, then transfer them into lower transportation tools or storage facilities through the bottom outlet.
Advantages:
The structure is stable and has a substantial load-bearing capacity, suitable for handling large-tonnage and high-frequency bulk goods (such as coal and ore).
It can be integrated with fixed conveyors, chutes, and other equipment to form an automated operation line and improve efficiency.
Limitations: It can only operate in fixed areas, has poor flexibility, and cannot meet temporary or mobile loading and unloading needs.
2. Mobile Hoppers
Structural characteristics: The bottom is typically equipped with wheels, crawlers, or hydraulic lifting devices, which can be moved by traction (such as forklifts or trailers) or autonomous power. Some are designed to be foldable or detachable for easy position adjustment.
Operation scenarios:
Used for temporary and flexible cargo transfer, such as cargo allocation in different areas of the wharf and emergency loading and unloading operations.
Cooperate with mobile cranes, loaders, and other equipment in areas without fixed loading and unloading points (such as open storage yards, temporary cargo areas).
Advantages:
High flexibility, can quickly transfer positions according to operational needs and adapt to multi-scenario operations.
The volume is relatively small, making it suitable for narrow spaces or temporary operation points, especially in scenarios with variable types of goods and small batch sizes.
Limitations: The load-bearing capacity and volume are usually smaller than those of fixed hoppers, and the structural stability is slightly lower, so it is unsuitable for long-term and high-frequency handling of large-tonnage goods.
