Safety Warning Devices

YFM cranes equipped with:

- A start-up bell or alarm.

- Boom extension indicator.

- Boom lights will provide illumination for the cargo operation area.

- Complete switchgear is provided to ensure the disconnection of the pump unit power supply.

- Designed to prevent accidental contact with live components.

- Electrical hazard signs are marked on the electrical equipment enclosures.

- The hoisting and steering mechanisms normally have closed brakes, and the boom extension hydraulic cylinders have locks.

- The winch is equipped with limiters.

- The hook is equipped with a drop-proof device.

- Standard grounding devices are provided.

Forms of electrical protection

The electrical drive circuit of YFM knuckle boom marine cranes includes the following types of protections:

A) Zero protection to prevent the motor from automatically starting after power is restored following a power outage;

B) Motor overload protection;

C) Motor starting protection with contactor locking devices;

D) Protection against short-circuit current in the control circuit;

E) Devices in the power supply circuit to limit inrush current.
