The Monorail Overhead Crane consists of steel structures such as theMonorail Overhead Crane main girder, trolley, hoist mechanism (hoist unit), and rail support structure, whose functions are as follows:

 

  • Main Girder: The core load-bearing component of the entire crane, providing structural support and foundation. It is generally made of high-strength steel such as carbon steel. Material selection is determined based on the crane's lifting capacity, material strength, and durability requirements.
  • Trolley: A component that moves horizontally along the full length of the main girder. Equipped with a built-in hoist mechanism (hoist unit), it drives the lateral movement of loads and ensures precise positioning during lifting operations.
  • Hoist Mechanism (Hoist Unit): Mounted on the trolley, it is responsible for the vertical lifting and lowering of loads. Its rated lifting capacity can be flexibly configured according to actual working conditions, covering both light-duty and heavy-duty operation requirements.
  • Rail Support Structure: Supported by elevated structures or equivalent components, it bears the weight of the main girder while ensuring the smooth movement of the trolley and hoist mechanism along the preset path.

Among these units, oversized components will be directly secured inside containers by lashing, while electrical parts and accessories will be transported in plywood cases.
