Before the job
Check the spreader: check the spreader structure for damage, fatigue cracks, hooks, slings, and connection points, and confirm that the spreader workload is clearly marked and suitable for the task at hand. At the same time, check whether the twistlock, guide and other components are normal.
Check the lifting machinery: ensure that the lights, brakes, steering and other safety devices of the crane are in good condition, and the lifting opening and closing indication signal system and tight stop device are effective.
Understand the working environment: clarify the ground bearing capacity, space constraints and surrounding obstacles in the operation area, and clean up the debris and irrelevant personnel on the operation site.
Job
Correct lifting: When lifting, the container should be lifted vertically to avoid cablestayed and hard dragging, and the lifting height should be greater than 30 cm before displacement. The descent should be slow, and the emergency descent must first be retracted to a safe position and then pitched down.
Control speed: When lifting goods not more than 40t, the driving speed is not more than 12km/h, and when the goods are more than 40t, not more than 8km/h. The turning speed with load is not more than 5km/h.
Keep a safe distance: Do not allow people to enter within 8 meters of the mechanical vehicle body. Before the retreat operation, confirm that there is no one within 8 meters after moving the counterweight.
Pay attention to balance: Before lifting, it is necessary to find the center of gravity of the cargo to ensure that the goods are balanced during the lifting process and avoid eccentric load tilting.
Obey commands: Drivers should follow the signals of the commander, and must immediately suspend the operation if any danger signal is issued.
After the job
Parking in place: When the operation is stopped, retract the boom to the lowest position to keep the equipment in a safe state. Park the spreader in the designated position and use the bracket to lift the top end of the twistlock off the ground.
Turn off the equipment: turn off the power supply of the spreader and the crane, lock the doors and windows of the operation room, and prevent misoperation by irrelevant personnel.
Inspection and maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the spreader, and repair or replace it in time if the parts are damaged or abnormal.
